As I've mentioned on some of the old soul, funk and disco threads, I do a weekly radio show with Quinny on Morpher Radio.
We’ve done a video trailer for this weeks show!
Please check it out and tell your friends.
I'd be glad for requests for future shows.
Cheers, Paul

Interesting.
Do you know how many people are listening to the show?
Probably not as many as would do if you got rid of those jingles....;)

The show goes out on Thursday afternoon at 2pm - listener figures are usually up to the 100 mark as far as we have been told. The show is also then available as a podcast (we use to use Mediafire for downloads), in a month we've got over 45 podcast subscribers and have just passed 500 "live" feed views. So it's not great but it is growing.
You'll find our podcasts at ...

As for the drops - yep there are a lot in the video, I added extra ones to cover some of the edits. Take a listen to one of the Shows, you'll find we don't use them very much at all. For anyone who likes them, they are done by "Wavey Davey" - top bloke, find him on YouTube or send me a P.M. and I'll hook you up.

Is this serious? I question this after 40 seconds of watching the video?

PS Internet based or broadcasting on FM?

Mark - thanks for the positive feedback glad you enjoyed the show.
Neil - I'm amazed the background noise isn't a problem, listen to the show on Thursday and you'll see the result is pretty good. It certainly beats being stuck in a studio!
Gareth - it's meant to be fun but we our shows have been running now for 36 weeks - yes it's internet radio. We only have a few hundred listeners and they are all over the world!
I don't expect to get Chris Moyles show any time soon! It's all about great music, with a bit of information and some friendly banter.
Cheers guys.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound so facetious and after re-reading it I can see why it could be perceived that way! Don't get me wrong, it looks like good fun!

That sums it up for me. I've never had a go at radio so I would like to try one day. It would be kind of wierd imagining an audience rather than seeing them.

:D It is! I work for Radio Peterborough as a Tech Op (volentary) and last weekend there was a big festival going on in the centrel park. Half way through the show, we get a phone call to tell us that we are playing out to all the audience at the main stage  It kind of uped the anti! It is really weird to think that there was a crowd of like 5,000 people listening just there.

I'm 52, I've never done radio before - and thought I never would! We enjoy the show, we put a lot of work in preparing stuff before we play it out, we do it because we enjoy it.
It's very strange when the show goes to air and we are in the chat room talking with people in the States, Australia, Iceland, and even the U.K.
Because of the internet anybody who wants to try radio can do - there are lots of stations out there - something for everybody!

You both do an excellent job and you have a very good chemistry.
you do not pretend to be anyone else and that shows.
Its nice that Steve is grumpy and opinionated as it shows passion.
You just have to play some better music and you will be on radio 2 in a month :D
can you put a podcast on this post so people can hear the show as the video does not do it credit with the rubbish USA cheesy voiceovers.
I though it was an english guy running it. why have a david kit jenson type voice over?
Surely someone like carl cox would do it credit for a few beers?

Hello Guys,
What a cracking selection of music, right up my street. Loving it big time.
I downloaded the podcast and spent this afternoon locked in my office listerning to them for the first time. Even the tracks I'd never heard of are wicked.
Keep up the good work.

Sorry forgot to ask,
Don't surpose you're thinking of taking requests.
I'd love to hear Dayton - The Sound Of Music is you ever do go down the request road.
Thanks in anticipation.
