I finally got round to watching the footage last night, really enjoyed it although my Wife didn't so much. I too would love something like that. I was lucky enough to see Daft Punk at Rockness a few years back, their LED DJ booth blew me away. Deadmau5 also uses a similar thing in his live shows:
