I thought the same Daz- don't know why! I can't really say that the Floyd were never the same after he left- nut they were certainly different.

there was a sid barret session lp he made, basically him in a studio, one take with all the chat and @@@@ that let's start again ... quite funny

Yeah I heard about Syd's death yesterday. I think it personally sucks because he was great wheile he was with Pink Floyd for a few years or so. I only know one of his songs from his solo work, which is "Opel." I've heard this song a few times on Napsterlinks, and it's pretty nice. I wonder if anyone else has heard this song. I think for my little knowledge of him and his music work, this song would be a great way of remembering him. Don't you think?
