Hello,

I was thinking the other day about gaining more experience in my DJ career and I was wondering weather I would be able to work alongside some other DJ's in my area who are willing to let me work along side them?

What I mean by working along side them is - being a roadie and generally helping them out.

I am based in Chesham in Buckinghamshire and transport might be a slight issue as I am only 16 years of age.

I would say that this is the best way to start out.

Im pretty sure thats how most of us began our dj career by helping another dj out at some point.

I could use a roadie if anyone is willing to learn - not much pay but experience would be gained. Im in Swindon though.

Not as much of a problem as getting up to Yorkshire. :( :( :D :D

What I mean't by that was - I couldn't be your roadie as you live miles away from me! I didn't mean it in a harsh way mate! :)

No worries my friend!

I will really enjoy it because I want to gain more experience and it is also nice to see how other DJ's do things.

I'm not much older than you, Tom - but if I get a suitable gig and you can get up here - you're more than welcome to come and give me a hand at a gig. :)

Thanks Ollie,

That is the issue I have which is transport as my mum and dad work long hours and don't have much free time to run me about etc.
