Someone wanted rubber cable protector details

Hi Guys, someone on here (cant remember who) made reference to Cable Protectors in a thread recently, kind of asking for a link.

Well i just went to order some of the SnapFit protectors from Thames valley Supplies, and a 9 metre length of their Type B (bigger hole in it) is £114 + VAT. Whilst on the phone, the lass said they had new lengths of budget stuff in, which is only £52 + VAT http://www.thamesvalleysupplies.co.uk/rubber-supplies/Thames-Valley-Supplies-296.php?296 (RO7B)

The only difference between that and SnapFit is that its not a closed bottom, but if your gaffa taping aswell, it makes little difference.

I bought 18 metres all told, and whilst with the SnapFit stuff i was looking at £280 od quid, with the budget stuff its only £130 odd.

Seen it, the "hole" is too small, so getting the bigger stuff pushes the price up. :)

I got 9 metres from viking which was only 84 quid inc vat about a year or so ago........

Yes it is.i went to the rs components store in glasgow to see the different kinds and sizes available before i bought.The type b 30x10 is ideal for iec power lead and a dmx lead.

The cheaper "budget" stuff from TVS is only about £62 inc VAT though...
