Gentlemen:

I have been chatting with Dave (Booche) about mixers.

I have narrowed things down to one of the following mixers, have a look at them and please give me your thoughts if you use any of them.

Soundcraft M8
Allen & Heath ZED-14
BEHRINGER XENYX 1222FX

What do you need it for Gary?

The first two are for live sound type productions.

Hiya Darren,

Great to hear from you mate.

I have chosen these mate mainly because they have got seperate dedicated mic inputs which is what I need mate especially if my whole team is out and by doing it this way there in no faffing about switching things from CD to mic etc.

I hope that explains things buddy

Now if I've understood it right, the Pioneer that our illustrious leader had a hand in, might just suit you absolutely down to the ground. Darren knows the number of it, is it a DJM 8000? :confused:

I think Gary wants dedicated mic channels rather than something he needs to keep switching.

Is that the one I was drooling over at the show? :confused: Seem to remember that having plenty of mic channels, as well as CD . I remarked that it would do Karaoke at a pinch, as well as being a DJ mixer. If the KAM 1500's weren't so :Censored: unreliable, they were perfect.

All i know is that soundcraft and Allen & heath are great sounding desks.

Thats it Darren mate, 1 for each team member + a couple of spare inputs for a cable mic for speaches etc
