Hi I doubt it but is there a DUAL one U digital player out there

Bit like this (below) but with features of the SDJ1.

Ideally i would like something that reads SD cards or pens and you can actually find the music on it easily :p (keyboard, playlist assign etc.).

Can you mix tracks on this (its only for back up):

"At the touch of a button the jog wheel will also give you complete vinyl emulation control over your mp3s! The unit features a seemless loop for live re-editing and has an auto fade mode which will blend one track into the next automatically and is adjustable".

There is a Stageline CD-120 in the CPC catalogue might be of some use.

dont think you can mix tracks? not a bad find though as that would work if everything went wrong. also takes CD's :)

It also has a remote so i can DJ from the other side of the room!

Look's nice that ;) I suppose a bit of practice won't do any harm  And I don't think it'll be that tricky to operate ;)

i think i would definitely have to try one to buy one.

I will stick with an SD1 i think and give up the extra U. :)

Toby, I'd highly recommend the Denon DN-F300, we added them to our production racks a few months ago, great little units.

That looks very nice :)
been a denon man for sometime (until i bought a vestax)

useful too as i have a dual mic and that would be perfect as the second channel.

- Does it mix tracks? Looks like one track after the next too me even a 10 second merge would do like in itunes (i have played a whole set on that once and know one was the wiser - last min back up that is).

that would be perfect if i could select the next track to play and cue it so it mixes with the current one.

Toby, there are two mic inputs on it on TS jacks, one on the front and one on the rear panel, controlled by a common gain pot.

No, I don't believe it does, however I'm not familiar with Itunes so not really sure what you mean but I must admit to not having read the manual from cover to cover! we got these units as more performers bring their backing tracks on usb sticks instead of md/cd nowadays, but obviously there's always an interval between tracks, therefore mixing isn't a requirement.

thats a shame it looked good :)

itunes can merge tracks with 10 second overlap which i always use for background and sounds pretty good really.

I thought Itunes was an online music shop for downloaded music, not a media player? Hey, one learns something new every day :o :p

I use it all the time at gigs as it lets me put on a play list and forget about it if im setting /packing up or doing other things. I also organise all my playlist which are then shown in Serato Itch.

I do have djay which automixes but itunes is easier as you can also purchase tracks whilst at gigs.
