To upload a website (built in serif/dreamweaver) onto the relevant server of the host, does each page need to be uploaded individually or can the entire lot be sent at once?

It appears that an error message shows at attempt to upload.

Is there anything else that needs to be conducted?

If you are uploading with an FTP client, then make sure the correct privileges are enabled to copy and create entire directories including subfolders.

The whole thing should be able to go at once. Check with the host if you should be using FTP in passive mode, and if so make sure your FTP settings reflect this.

Knowing the error message would help....

Yep - I shall inform the site owner and post more information on the error, once known :approve: ;)

Use cyber duck.

much easier as its desk top based. you just drap and drop and it does the rest.

even better than that you can use it to edit html on notepad. Press save and it automatically updates the site.
