If you can come up with lists containing only readily available tracks (Released or CD Pool etc) & keep it up to date, I'll sticky the thread.

It could come in handy

Corabar Entertainment

As im doing a few "Disco Wedding jobs" at the minute what do these represent and whats the average audience age--do you know ?

Is it under the average age people get married by any chance?

Last nights Wedding was the usual suspects published regularly on here under " favourite tracks "---every one a winner-- tomorrow I think will be the same--older age group 30 plus.

Many years ago when I did Weddings every week we always played some current chart hits--you just had to have them--not any more--I get playlists
but no one asks for anything "new" ( cringe Rice) oh except Amarillo and Cha Cha slide

So has the quality gone down, are people more fussy about being played rubbish even though its a "hit" on a Radio poll or is that people are getting married much later.

Off topic but did anyone see the TV programme The Chase tonight--I was too tired to do anything so I watched it--there was a Marquee Wedding and a Peter Kay Disco with flashing 100 watt light boxes --in full daylight--the DJ looked ok but the lighting equipment image was SO naff! Yuk!

Just to add to what Badger said, there are some useful pages on the Top of the Pops website.

Firstly, there is a review page on the website, that analyse new releases on a weekly basis. Link below!

New Releases (http://www.bbc.co.uk/totp/new_releases/)

There is also a page on there that lists new releases 4 weeks in advance, which would be useful for the public and DJs alike. Link below!

Future New Releases (http://www.bbc.co.uk/totp/new_releases/soon.shtml)

Ok, so TOTP has been axed as a result of the major BBC shake up. However, i think the website will remain for some time yet...well hopefully!

Isn't it ridiculous that the only comprehensive list of UK singles releases i've been able to find is on this greek website! (http://www.radio1.gr/music/forthcoming_singles.htm)

All the UK sites just tell you about the stuff they want to promote...
