Sax and Dotty

Friend of mine swears by this as a Karaoke Player......Its about £30.. I think.

Anyone have any experience of this please??

I used to go on a karaoke forum where the owner and developer of this system used to post (he may still be there). It seem to get a good reception from the other forum posters there.

I have got myself Sax and Dotty show presenter which runs with winamp. It was running on old laptop fine under Windows vista. I now have a new laptop with Windows 7 and am desparately trying to get it to run properly but as soon as I try to play a Karaoke track i get "this application has not been configured properly or the winamp window has been closed" I have checked the winamp path and it seems to be fine. Have tried uninstalling and re installing the programs countless times but always the same error appears. I notice that on windows 7 I have folders in C: called program files and also program files(X86) which is where winamp is.

Any ideas please, its driving me nuts!

Karaoke is only about 5% of what I do now....stuck with trusty old VLC media player in the end!!;) ;) ;) ;)

Maybe you need to install it with administrator rights? A fair few of my programs that ran fine under Windows XP wouldn't work with Vista but I found that if you right click on the install file and select "Run as administrator" then, more times than not, the software worked. Perhaps this is the same sort of thing?
