Lil mix controller

Does anybody else have one of these? It is a great little controller for use with my LEDJ par cans if I use the manual controls however, the sound to light function on the controller does not behave as well as the built in sound to light on the par cans. Even running my sound system at high levels does not produce decent movement between colours. I have tried contacting prolight who have not responded to my email. Is this normal or do I have a lemon?

I've got a 'lil mix and like you find the S2L a bit "erratic". Sometimes it's fine other times it just doesn't want to play :(

Not a big drama in itself as I use it to mix colours for the colourbursts when uplighting but also occasionally I use it to run my ADJ mega panels in 4ch mode which it does really well ;)
