traktor le or duo

anybody using one of these programs for disco use, i have just got a copy of traktor le does it have an auto mix feature? thanks

Traktor uses beatgrids that you can then use to synchonise your tracks together and beatmatch. it does not have a one button automix feature.

Duo and Pro have a feature called 'Cruise' which is a fade in / fade out type feature. Handy for early evening and if you needed a considerable toilet break. Pretty sure that LE does not have this feature.

Virtual DJ which i trialed does have some automix features I understand and it picks the best one for the type of music you are playing.

Correct, the LE version hasn't got that feature enabled, however, Traktor Duo does have the 'Cruise' facilty.

As Dave Rightly said, Traktor does not have an 'automix' facility. It does have a 'sync' feature though - To take full advantage of the sync feature and be able to mix tracks correctly you'll need to set the beatgrids correctly.

If you don't want to put the work in with Traktor I'd suggest something like Virtual DJ where you need very little skill and the program will do it for you with the automix.

If you have a mac i would recommend DJAY.

Cheap and very good for the price. The automix is excellent. Reads itunes

Not sure whether you are talking about the NI Audio 4DJ as you can get Duo without aswell but this is an excellent soundcard. I have been using it for the last 3 months
