Looks alright. General feel to me is a tad bright but that's my personal view.
Haven't had chance to proof read it as doing several things at the mo.

Like it very much. do not like the pic on the front though (not that i can talk lol). Looks like a plumbers site or something on first impression IMO.
The one on the other page is better but it has been cropped too much and may not be pleasing to the eye.
I would try another one with more space around you. Possibly in a suit behind the kit or in the gardens of a nice venue? Looks like you do allot of social clubs etc. so maybe that better?
Rest is great though.

Here is one from my site.
It does look a bit poncy but that is how I want too come across.
I am actually quite a quiet young man offline :)

I'm not sure.
If you want my honest opinion - I don't like it. :o

I don't normally post on such threads for obvious reasons, but I feel that I need to point something out in respect of this particular project.
Steve's current target demographic / market is slightly different to most of the regular posters on here. One of the main intentions was not to immediately alienate his bread and butter customers by hitting them with an over-complex and flashy site, but to allow his business to grow organically. A careful comparison was done with competitor sites targeting the same demographic. This is the first step towards achieving that goal.
Please bear this in mind when reviewing.

I don't much like the color scheme much, I'm afraid.
On the technical side - That's the 3rd "unedited" lavalamp I've seen today, and 2 of them were on Martin's sites  I noticed that on the feedback page (which isn't in the top menu) the "Home" item is shown as current, which is wrong. To make lavalamp have no default selection while still retaining other functions add an invisible
element before the first one (home), with inline css something like this: -

and don't have any with the "current" class. You might have to change the values. Not perfect, but it works ;)

Me also. There was a better pic of me on the front page during mock up design from the Hannah Montana party. So might ask Martin to put that one back.
I Think there's also a better one of me in the suit also. So will probably get that changed too.

It does look a bit poncy
Agreed. :D
I think the site is OK Steve - clean and concise. Not really my cup of tea and (sorry Martin :o ) to me it looks a little bit home made.
But, it does the job and isn't fussy, which is what I assume Steve wanted.

Steve, your picture shows a friendly guy who looks as though he knows what Entertaining people is all about---great--but the name I just dont get.
Im the last person to talk about strange names--I have a personal site for Weddings and then other sites which are NOT personalised and offer services supplying other people--but you appear to be the DJ.
Have you previously called yourself Steve Hanley Ents or something similar--I think that matches your image to be honest.
Site is fine, I woulds ditch the mobile number---personal pet hate of mine.
Al the real pros--Solicitor, Accountant, Dentist --they dont have one.;)
Looks more like its errr for Plumbers as mentioned

Hi Alan
There is an office landline number in the contact us section, but BT can't connect the :Censored: thing until August 25th this month.
Then that will go on the main page

Hi Darren
Yeah didn't want the site to be too busy at first I.E. Loads of things to click on. Simple and clean and grow the site as the business grows

To be honest, of all the sites put up for review on the forum, this is one of the very few where there's nothing I don't like on initial inspection.
Nice one Martin!

I think that your logo should be at the top of the site really :)

What do you mean by that? He doesnt specialise in weddings?

Steve, something's gone a bit Pete Tong with the pictures on my screen.
I'm using Firefox on a netbook (XP Windows OS) and I'm getting this (without the hand-drawn extras, obviously):-

It seems fine on IE8 (Microsoft Internet Explorer). Have you refreshed, or reloaded the page?

I guess I'm in the minority, cause I really like it. The only think I'm not keen on is the wavy lines near the top of the pages. That one thing makes it look like a template (to me anyway). Apart from that it get's the thumbs up from me.

Let's enjoy being in the minority together.
Probably won't ever happen again!

Hi Angela
It's not just me then? Cos it's happening on mine too. I thought it must have just been my laptop.

I guess I like sophistication.
When I first viewed the site, I thought Steve had made it himself - then I noticed the VV web at the bottom.
It looks like a template, the waves at the top look like they belong to a tour boat company? The colours are a bit random and don't relate or reflect the service you are selling.
I'm sorry Steve (and Martin) We are all entitled to our own opinion....I chose Laura Ashley wall paper. :sj:

Don't appologise Charlie. This is a long term project I've agreed with Martin and as long AAA is up and running then he will be in charge of the site.
Yes it is a template he sent me so many I stuck a blindfold on and threw a dart at them. The site will change considerabley as we grow
