Due to the purchase of a new playout laptop I am going to sell my 3rd line of backup my HD2500.

The unit is 3 years old and has not really been used for the last 18 months.

The unit has a couple of small faults which is why for me it is backup and not main playout
1. the right side play button sticks, needs a good push to make the unit play. hot cues will also start play as a workaround
2. the right side jog wheel is loose

Firmware is v1400 and this is a uk unit.

I have a box for this unit but the instructions are long gone (unless they are still in the box)

I can provide pictures if required but the unit is cosmetically very good, flightcased all its life.

I have considered the faults and i am asking for £250 for the unit and I will ship inclusive to the uk mainland.

Pm me if interested or post questions below

cheers

dave

Assuming its only a switch replacement your looking at no more than £50 for Denon to service for you. As they have a 3 year eec directive warantee they do the repair at cost usually some will do it for free for good customer relations but most charge shipping and a small fee. It may be worth it to get it fixed then relist it.

Did Darren snap it up?

Hi Darren, as per the details in the first post.

I have a box for this unit but the instructions are long gone (unless they are still in the box)"

The unit is still living in it's flight case. It was used for about 18 months, so normal wear and tear from about 40 gigs in that period really.

Hope this helps.

I was really talking about the physical condition -are there scratches, chips or marks?

Will check later when I get back. I would expect some marks around mountings, but it has been flightcased for it's entire life, although it has moved flightcase home a few times.

As long as it's reasonable, then that is fine and I will have it - how do you want paying?
