Hi all

Is there any way of tracing an IP address? Basically someone is being nasty to my neighbours daughter via msn/piczo, and we are trying to find out who.
How can it be done?

hi, yes there is a way to do this......could you get your neighbours daughter to basically go onto my chat room and i can you give the ip address of the attcker

tell her to make make up an excuse to go on there i don't know what , any way is use this method to block people off my website!

Just put the nasty person on block and call it a day

Its the internet and despite what people say its very dificult to prove who it is.

then by using a simple code in the command propmt in windows i can track the attacker's loacation down!

you can go to you IP provider & police and give the details to them make sure you give copies of conversations etc etc the police will do the chasing for you under the new information act they can now pursue these idiots and trace everything they do. Nothing may happen immediately but the rogue should stop as they will be watching them or like someone said above just block them press the ignore button
