Nothing last night (other than some time with the kids, then, after their bedtime a couple of glasses of Jamiesons Irish Whisky!)
Tonight my gig has just been switched from a 21st birthday karaoke disco to a more local karaoke night at a snooker club. Bit less money for me but also a much shorter night and only 15mins away from home!
Tomorrow - Chill down time and possibly more whisky! ;)

weekend just gone.
Friday - At my Grandmothers funeral.
Saturday - 25th Wedding Anniversary - Royal Hotel - Hull
Sunday - At a 70th Birthday Birthday Party
The venue i did on sat night has three function suites. The Royal Suite & Edwardian Suite on the main floor. There is the Windsor Suite which is in the basement. The royal suite & windsor suite both had weddings in. I was in the Edwardian.
I was asked by a dj if i could do his folks 25th wedding anniversary. He didnt want to do the disco. I got setup early and he arrived early as well so he said to me you fancy coming to check out the other djs in the other rooms. So i went for a look with him. In the Royal Suite there was a dj with some real old fashioned peaveys and the usual maplin specials couple of computer monitors either side for videos or karaoke whatever he was doing.
Go downstairs into the Windsor Suite and i thought the setup upstairs was bad enough for the size of the room.
even worse in the Windsor suite. Some really old battered H/H Electronic speakers and a H/H amp, 2 channel prosound mixer a diddy acer netbook couple of lightscreens box sign and a couple of those 3 lamp sequencers on top of the speakers.
The evenings discos start. I turned both my subwoofers down. The next minute the dj from downstairs comes upstairs and says can you turn your system down you can hear yours over mine.
So the son of the hosts (a dj himself) comes to see me to ask me for a request and i said to him do you think my sound system is too loud he said not at all but it sounds very good though.
So he goes bitching to the hotel manager. The hotel manager in the end ignored his whining because he listened from downstairs and he didnt think mine was that loud from upstairs he even come into the room i was working in
and said its not too loud at all.
all in all a good night.
next weekend
fri - nothing
sat - nothing (But might be going to the freedom festival on Queens Gardens in Hull. (McFly, Saturdays, Roll Deep, Alesha Dixon, Diana Vickers) are all on
sun - nothing

I reckon there's a magician in the house, because the thread about what we were doing last weekend seems to have turned into a thread about what we're doing this weekend.
Anyway...
Friday - Nothing.
Saturday - 5th wedding anniversary in a boathouse at Putney embankment.
Sunday - Pub quiz.

Just as easy to keep them all in one place, like the Good gig -Bad gig thread
Could sticky it then too

Is there a date in the title?
I can't see one, Steve.
My comment was based on the fact that a new thread is usually started each time, rather than having one sticky which is used every week, week in week out, month in month out.
I also seem to recall a recent situation where people started talking about what they were doing the following week, and a member of site staff split the thread and used the new posts to start a new thread for that week.

Honestly, I don't care either way. There are more important things in life to get worked up about.

Are you saying you're bowing out of this thread, or that you want me to?
