Bearing in mind that some people on here have been DJing for years, what are the songs you play on a regular basis and actually don't mind playing?

A couple to start for me are Barry White - You're the first, and Jackie Wilson - Higher and higher.

Forget the ones you hate, which are the ones you like to play still, after playing them regularly for a long time?

Cool - no-one's mentioned mine yet....

I like lots of the stuff I play, but I have a trade-mark type finish that I love...

Four Seasons - December '63

Love pretty much any tracks - especially Northern Soul and Old Skool dance (two totally different styles!) - but I can't Jennifer Rush, Celine Dion or Aaron Neville as they singing really makes me cringe.

"......A whisper in the morning......" - no thanks love - I'd rather have a Kit Kat Chunky Peanut!

David Ruffin - I want you back
DeeeLite - Groove is in the heart
Queen - Don't stop me now
Mavericks - Dance the night away
Sam & Dave - Soul man
Blues Brothers / Ray Charles - Shake a tailfeather
Isley Brothers - Shout

(The last 3 usually one after the other, if the gig permits)

Blues Brothers / Ray Charles - Shake a tailfeather

That reminds me.. what's the correct title for that track? My Ray Charles greatest hits cd has it like that but then its called "shake you tailfeather" on the blues brothers soundtrack, and thats what i've always thought it was called...

Corabar Steve

James & Bobby Purify's version (the original, I think) has Shake Your Tailfeather.

Whereas the Blues Brothers OST Lists it as Shake A Tail Feather

I have both copies in front of me as I type just to check.
