Thought I'd just share a few observations about this venue where I was working at last night for a Masonic Ladies Night.
Although it appears to be in the main part of Winchester (and within the one way system), 'Tom Tom' found it very easily.
The function room is on two levels with the dance floor on the 'top layer' and then down three/four steps to where the guests had their tables. The access is via a door onto the street so you have to carry the gear all of about 10 feet!! Parking there is on yellow lines but then just move your vehicle into the Hotel car park. The staff too were very helpful.
The only downside was that, as the celing is the same height throughout the room, I could only raise the stand up about 8 feet so that the crossbar was 'resting' on the ceiling. Not too bad for me as I've got winch stands but for those of you who have 'fixed height' stands, it may present you with an issue.
