PayPal Disputes --- Timeline

Guys,

If you raise a dispute with someone on paypal ( after 2 days of trying to get hold of them) .... how long would you allow before esculating it to a higher person!! LOL

I'm thinking of allowing 24 hours... and then asking PayPal to intervene.

What do you guys think ??

I did a dispute a few months back.

Pretty sure I escalated about 48hrs after trying to get hold of the other party and settling things without taking it further.

Aslong (which I'm sure you are ;) ) as you're in the right and have any possible evidence just in case then go for it.

If they are a buyer and their feedback is solid I would allow them longer. I usually persist in emailing and wait - there can be genuine reasons for delay
