I have a guy from the FSB coming tomorrow to see me.

Has anyone any experiences good or bad or any opinions ??

I know about the credit / debit card facilities, but has anyone found any other benefits ??

I will be totally honest, the main reason for my interest is to try and help raise my corporate profile.

I have the FSb/Streamline deal.

The legal advice is useful.

Their PLI quote was over £100 more than Hencilla (through NADJ, but not the £75 deal unfortunatley!) so that was no good for me.

They do keep you updated with local business news and events - I went along to one of the networking events but it was open to anyone, so no need to be a FSB member and I didn't meet anyone in a similar business that would have made a good contact. Not had chance to go to any of the other meets as I've had work on.

Free banking, cheap telephone line, cheaper (allegedly) insurance...er quite a lot of other stuff that I can't remember...

My wife joined but was less than happy with their legal advice when she had a problem - a virtual shrug of the shoulders by all accounts -but YMMV

I have found it very useful myself.

Funnily enough (isn't it strange how these things happen!), the MDD is awaiting a pack at the moment to enable us to become intermediaries between interested members and the FSB, so watch this space and hopefully we will have more information shortly. :)

i've been a member for 2 years and the only benefit that's been of any use is the free banking with the co-op...! i won't be renewing next year

This does make me laugh.

You are part of a Nationally recognised body and have them behind you at any time. There are a lot of benefits as well as lots of marketing opportunities and a lot of times to meet other professionals.

All of this for just over £100 a year. What do people want for this kind of money?

Free equipment? Free bookings?
