Dose anyone think this might work
I have been looking at http://www.westenddj.co.uk/product.asp?mod=rrstandt .
My question is if i stripped away the legs on a winch ( wind up ) t bar and cut a hole in each end of the table and put stand in the hole to put a small truss across between the two poles would this work .
Hope this makes sence.
Thanx Shaun

If I'm understanding what you are saying I doubt it, I don't think it would not be stable enough, also do you want to be spending that much money on making a Heath Robinson contraption ?

I was just thinking the table is lightweight easy to set up winch stands would be light without the legs

The overhead would be very wobbly - in fact without something weighting the uprights at the bottom I doubt they would stay up at all.
What's wrong with using the table and one tripod stand with a T-Bar for an easy, lightweight (and safe) set-up?

A lightweight table holding up several Kgs of lighting? I doubt this would be safe at all, plus I don't think any insurer would cover something home-made like this, unless you could get proper weight testing etc. done on it.
