Too late not but STOP! DONT! It will make the thing usless! I have it on my now old 3G and its horrible, sluggish and slow. Getting into messages take ages then its sometimes becomes unresponsive. Got the iPhone 4 today and its like night and day the difference! Stick with 3.what ever!

This is what the update is for.
- iPhone 4 proximity sensor performance
- iPhone 3G performance
- Nike+iPod fixes
- Bluetooth improvements
IOS 4 made Iphone 3g slow, IOS4.1 is meant to make it faster again, thats the theory anways.
If it's still slow try turning off the spotlight search tool, thats meant to make a big difference

Well I'm pleased to report that my 3G is now running like it did before 4.0 so it's a big thumbs up from me :)

lol jailbreaking is now legal anyway.
im stay away from the new update untill the new jailbreak is out.
As there is a very good app call blacklist.
It blocks number and text message calling you you. just add the number. As i never answer blocked numbers it auto send them to my anser phone

So-called "jailbreaking" is not illegal in the U.S.

Think I might attept to jailbreak my iphone again. Last time I did it my phone froze up, had to reset it back to factory settings to get it working again.
