ultimax stand help

Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me out here.
I bought an Ultimax 1.2m deckstand with a single overhead 2.5m bar a couple of years ago. Recently I was offered a twin bar for next to nothing so i decided to buy it.
The problem is when I try to attatch it to my vertical poles it just slides down them! Can someone tell me what I need to buy as I'm losing the will to live here now!

check the width of your poles (32mm?)

Sounds like you have the open castings. The up-rights that came with that style of cross bar had a nut and bolt through it, about 2" to 3" inches from the top.

You can buy new castings if you want.
