Just took a strange telephone call on my mobile, which has left me a bit baffled.
Ive change the name to something more non-descript. Anyway, like i say the mobile rings and its the local dialling code...
Me - Hello
Them - Hi, im trying to get hold of Joe Bloggs
Me - Im sorry, i think you have the wrong number
Them - Do you do discos in Workington
Me - Yes we do
Them - Based at Sibson Place
Me - Yes
Them - Weve booked a Joe Bloggs to DJ for my wedding tonight but through another DJ, but was told that he usually works for the disco based at Sibson Place
Me - Im sorry, he's not one of my DJ.
Them - Are you sure
Me - Yes, ive never heard of him.
Them - OK, thanks. Ill try and get hold of him another way.
Now this has me thinking...is someone using my business as a way of gaining word-of-mouth work, or a genuine mix up......
