From those lovely lovely folk, priveleged enough to live in the South of this country. I've always said how much I admire them. ;) ;)
Anyone anywhere near Orpington, Kent? I've just won an item on Ebay which I didn't expect to, and they'd prefer local pick up.
Thanks in advance,Lads and Lasses.

It's about 30 minutes from where I work but what is it?

And Rob and Tom are both in the same general area, I note.
It's a LED lighting fixture, not large, or particularly fragile, and anyone involved in getting it to BPM would find themselves rewarded with suitable compensation.

Why not get interparcel to pick it up?
I always do that - good prices too. No difference to getting someone else to do it?
Timings are not always as accurate however.

True. It's not the cost issue I'm addressing, but the fact that it was advertised as " Local pick up offered". I'd like to explore whether that's a runner first.

Errrr, you meant to say " Considerate", seeing as I'm trying my best to comply with the seller's wishes. Also, I forgot about it, and didn't have time to ask about delivery. Neither did I expect to win it, cos it was only selling for about half the price I'd have expected.
