Hi Scoop!

I get loads of new forum member requests from this kind of email address. I'd originally set up the forum so anyone come in but I soon realise I has getting ridiculous amounts of spam posts so I now have to manually verify membership before anyone can post.

Actually, our forum is dormant at the moment but could be relaunched early next year.

Not promoting, Ang, just sharing an experience I had. I got some forum software included as part of my hosting package and had a play around with it. I was playing with the idea of a North East Entertainers forum where entertainers, managers, agents, promotors and clients could come together and interact. Due to me knowing very little about developing a forum, and not having the time to learn, it was a project that was put on the backburner for a while.
