Well where do I start.
Present I think. Currently involved in a small mobile dj system in Cambridgeshire/ Bedfordshire. Mainly for dancing to modern Jive. I am a digital DJ although I have a pair of 1200's (Not many records these days though although I used to have collection valued at £45,000 back in the day) and CDJ's.
I also put on my own party's playing house and modern soul music. I part own a Nexo PS10 system which we use for these events and other events where higher sound pressures are needed.
My past: I ran a mobile disco from 17 up until I was 25. In the 1980's had a 3 sound system and all manner of light boxes and other equipment. We used to put nights on at most of the local pubs. I also did the weekly friday night at the towns night club.
I then with a friend in the early 90's brought a 6K <forum censor activated - please edit your post><forum censor activated - please edit your post><forum censor activated - please edit your post> system brand new. I also of the back of this did a lot of PA hire work for Tony at <forum censor activated - please edit your post><forum censor activated - please edit your post><forum censor activated - please edit your post>. I did this for 8 years part time and did most of the major night clubs/spots in London as <forum censor activated - please edit your post><forum censor activated - please edit your post><forum censor activated - please edit your post> was the system to be used at that time.
My full time job was in a sub contract company that made Hifi speakers for B&W, Mission, Tannoy, Warfdale and boothroyd stuart meridian as the quality manager. As you can see I have a good understanding of sound and speaker manufacture.
