Hi im wondering if anyone here uses an ultimax decks stand case and if it fits the 1.7 meter version of the deckstand? Or if anyone knows of another bag or carry case that it will fit in I have both the 1.7 and 1.2 crossbars and the standard bar across the top. Im looking for a bag that will hold the entire stand in 1 preferably or 2 if no other way.

Suggestions please. Oh budget max £100 but lower prefered.

It will cater for the 1.7m deck stand too (Dimensions (LxH): 195x71cm). I bought one, never used it as I decided to get a bigger van and my deckstand stays in there setup permanently. Sold mine on here though a while back though mate.

Thanks for that Mark always good to hear confirmation. Anyone know of any other brands that do a case or bag that will fit? I do liek the padded bags like cobra and arriba as they not only protect the stands but protect other kit from the stands in transit a little better.
I used to use a very large soundlab stand bag that could hold my entire old decks stand including 3 meters of tritruss however my new ultimax stand is very slightly longer than the bag so a new alternative must be sought.

I did notice from a previous thread that Angela spotted the ones at Terralec did anyone else buy these and how did they work out. I know they wont get the crossbeams in but they look like they would get everything else.

know it sounds picky but I just dont like the look of the ultimax bag. It doesnt look to strong and I cant see any padding on it.

Hi,

I have just had a custom one made for my 4ft giraffe stand.

As I found the ones you can buy ready made usually split at the seams.

Mine opens out flat so all you have to do is lay your stand items in the bag a zip it up and your away!

My original one you had to slide your stand and poles in - what a pain! - so time consuming!

It's all made out of waterproof materal, double sewn then binded with padding and lining. I added a six inch gusset to give it volume.

It cost £44.49 (including postage) from Alec @ http://www.bacsew.co.uk
