Had one of my sites revamped. Had it up and running for a few weeks now and working really well for me.

However, as many opinions as possible will help in the task of ever improving ;)

I know I need more photos in the gallery, just need to get my finger out :)

Looks generally good to me.

I dont like links personally and definitely would not have them on the home page?

That would leave more room for recommendations.;)

Mention of a working mens club I think is a non starter for a PREMIER service---sorry I know theres money there but presume this is intended to be more upmarket???

Your previous gigs stated appear to have been at venues which are not in that market.

Very informative and attractive but wheres the final sales pitch inviting them to contact you for the greatest Wedding ever?

After all the site name is suggesting its better than the average.

You may not wish to come over pushy but I wouldnt be too laid back either.

Either have prices shown OR in the contact sheet ask for the relevant info which enables you to contact them and have an informed discussion around their Wedding arrangements about which you already have many facts--
dont leave them to ask the questions.

Photos, I would scrap equipment pictures, stick to happy dancers.

I would also include some vid clips which are more effective ( in my opinion)

Overall appropriate colour and good feel.

I actually quite like the overall layout and colours. The links to non-dj/disco related things e.g Mikes Joinery I'm a bit confused about and not sure this is a good image for selling uplighting mate tbh

I tend to aggree over all site looks good mate but that image Mark has put up looks abit like two shower curtains :sofa:

Over all though scrap the links or keep them for the disco site not the wedding one etc ;)

Clean & fresh.

It's a tad boring & basic for me but I can see how it has the potential to work well. :)

I agree about the links and dull pictures.

Pics are having a total revamp. The ones up there are basically a stop gap as my hard drive with photos on needs fixing.

Links - the joinery one is a long story. I am currently deciding whether to bother with links, a twitter is one option but considering different options.

Not bad....but as others have said lose the Joinery and Design / Hosting links, and also the visitor counter!

And, unless the page does validate, lose the validation links (XHTML is showing 4 errors).

Hi Marc, the site did validate until I started playing around :D :D . Once finished will ensure it does validate ;)

IOf you must have links...have a seperate page Chris. That way they can choose to brows your links instead of just coming across them :)

For search engine reasons I need my own links to be highly visible. The other 2 links are going - bit of a story but saved me £££££ ;)
