Silly question this

How do you know when a speaker cone is going or gone? Are there any warning signs, apart from thrashing it bits and upsetting the neiboroughs

it vibrates n rattles where the tear is, or has gone completely and no sound is coming out

1/ what bout if it flaps 9 if thats the right word)

2/ anyway of testing it without blasting it

measure the resistance through the coil i guess

Usually if the drive is blown it's rock hard! As in you cant flex it in and out if you push it. :)
