Sorry if this is in the wrong section :(

A client has just got back to me who is booked in and has asked how much a low lever fogger/Dry ice machine would be on top of his price already.

Now obviously i've not got one and was wondering were i could get one from to hire for the day, now its not cost effective for me to buy one so like i say please only respond if you have/know anyone who hires them please

Needed A.S.A.P

Cheers Dave :)

If you want to sort out carriage from and too me, and your dry ice pellets, I've a Le Maitre Peasouper you can borrow.

http://www.dryiceuk.co.uk/dryice.htm you'll need this if you take Dynamic up on his offer. it won't last all night possibly 10 minutes per bag though you'd need storage such as large picnic boxes (cool boxes) plus gloves to handle the bags. You could use a conventional smoke machine next to the P/souper output as well, the dry ice would keep the smoke down giving you more coverage, and density, pellets are ready quicker, dry ice blocks last longer / but slower. Remember the pea Souper is effectively 1 giant kettle so has boiling water, and you have bags / blocks of sub zero material handing about. You can loose fingers if touched!

other option try a theatrical hire company such as stage electrics http://www.stage-electrics.co.uk/Category.aspx?id=30911

Dave.

The, David won't have a clue what a low level fogger is.

Don't worry about it. Just use smoke/haze.

Don't make too much work for yourself.

If you are still stuck and need a good machine i have an effect company cirrus heavy fog machine in my hire stock:

This machine uses liquid Co2 from a bottle to keep the fog low, and will produce similar results to a pea souper, but without the issues of using dry ice and hot water. A small 6kg gas bottle will run the machine non stop for 9 mins, big bottles for 48mins continuous.
1 6kg bottle would be plenty for a disco - equivalent to approx. 30Kg of dry ice.
Im based just north of Bedford, so a bit of a drive away - but let me know if i can help.
