Hi guys

bought a Kam KWM1940 twin mic system and come across a bit of a problem. One of the mics seems to have a high pitch whistling in the background, its not loud but it is there, the other mic is perfect, i have changed the frequencies as far apart as possible but its still there, I have tried using the seperate XLR outputs and the jack to jack lead and its still there. Does anyone have this mic set and if so do you get the same problem if not any advice? Could it be the receiver or the mic itself...thanks

Sounds like a faulty Mike or Base unit.
i would return it as Dead on Arrival for a refund / replacement.
Sorry i cant be more helpful.
It recently seems a trend that on Dual Mike sets ones much better performance than the other....i do prefer single sets .
When theyre worn out (usually 13 months)
at least you only have to replace a single set

cheers
