Euro - UK Power Adaptors

Having spent nearly a grand and been sent European 2 pin power leads :Censored: I now find myself wondering - Trust adaptors or new UK leads?

What do fellow Active speaker users find has been best - and what length?

I'm not an active speaker user, but from a sceptics point of view, I wouldn't be too happy with an adaptor on an external device requiring fairly significant amounts of power. That's just me being a tad pessimistic, but I see no reason to court disaster.

My playout boxes are crammed with the blighters ( grrrrr ) but for Hard Drives and the like. Minimal current draw.

I had leads specially made - I wouldn't trust adapters. Mine are 5-6m long I think.

my immediate thought was two new 5m cables and adaptors for the ones they have sent me just for emergencies - but I may be being a bit tight there!

Why not just cut off the euro plug and fit a new UK 3 pin plug to the lead? costs about a pound, and takes 5 mins. I use 5M leads on my actives, this lengt seems to cope with most situations
