In the very near future I'm looking into investing in one of these:

http://www.citronic.co.uk/product/171.721UK (16U version)

Was just wondering if anyone on here use them and if there any good as I can't find any reviews on them. I'm currently using an ULTIMAX 1.2m stand with shelfs but am looking to put everything in one rack for easy transportation and quickier setup times.

Any information welcome:)

Thats ok if you work in venues with no stairs but loaded up it will be a bugger to lift
do you need 16 u why not get two 8u

I have thought about the weight issue and I agree it will be pretty heavy (lucky for me I always have a roadie on hand). I don't plan on filling the unit, It will probably hold Dual CD Player, Mixer, Amp, Laptop.

I'm going for the 16U for the simple reason it's higher and at a workable height.

We use one of those at work. A few weeks ago we had a peavey mixer and radio recievers racked up and a 16 way multicore travelling in the bottom. Seemed a good idea until we got to the venue and had to carry it upstairs, thats where the problem lies in those cases. Good for gigs on the ground floor.

sold this a while ago and i see it is back on the market, fantastic rack and a good price. but as i mostly work solo it was too much, plus i sold the vito and it wouldn't fit in the caddy, the concept was brilliant wheel it out of the van and into the venue plug in and away you go.upstairs just used back up kit.

I use one similar where the doors front and back turn into tables that clip on the sides.
Yes it is so easy to set up - plug in, drop feeds into Bose L1 and away you go.
It is heavy though so stair climbing sack truck for short staircases or back up gear if a full staircase - plus tail lift in back of Trafic is a life (or is that back) saver.

Did the van already have that on or did you get it fitted?

Thanks for the link but by the time I read it I'd already submitted my order (sods law).

Managed to get the 16U Citronic 19" Rack case with wheels, 3x 2U blanking Plates, 1x 2U Static shelf, 1x 1U Sliding Shelf plus delivery (next day) for under £300 which I don't think is too bad considering some companies sell the rack case alone for £300+

Now I'm playing the waiting game for my new toys:D
