Speaker carpet

Has anyone used the speaker carpet from CPC?

Is the quality of the CPC stuff OK?

Would you recommend the self-adhesive version (http://cpc.farnell.com/_/23-m4140-5000/self-adhesive-carpet-loudspeaker/dp/LS02058), or the non-sticky-back version (http://cpc.farnell.com/_/50-910/speaker-carpet-black/dp/LS01524) with separate adhesive, and if separate, which adhesive would you recommend?

Used it and it's fine - nice and stretchy. Also, good from Blue Aran too.

use the non glued stuff - it's easier. Stick it down with standard carpet glue from B&Q.

Used some of this a few years back and i also found the non glued carpet was better as you could move it around and you had abit of freedom with it were as the preglued stuff sticks near enough straight away

use a latex carpet glue or copydex,be v careful with it even tho its water based it actually cures like rubber and is a swine to get out of clothes.

answered already i think but the liquid spray glue helps if you want to adjust the cloth and it allows you to stretch the material moreso than the glued stuff. Smells good too.

CPC chaps.

Although as recommended in the carpet thread from last month, the type that needs adhesive is easier to apply as you can maneuver it while the glue is wet
