A work colleague of mine told me a few months back about seeing a dodgy disco at a wedding he attended in the summer.

Apparently 5 young lads pulled up with a make shift set up and straight away started perving over the girls in the room and making rude comments, they then went on to play music which was recorded off radio one as my mate said that Scott Mills voice appeared over the speakers after playing Rhianna!!!

They also commented on the girls who came back from the buffet calling them all "Fatties" and basically being rude to all the guest.

Well today my work colleague got a call from Watchdog whom he had reported too and I have just overheard him telling them what happened, so now Im waiting to see what the outcome of this will be!!!

This has surprised me. Do you know what the company is called?

To be honest I have never heard of the company myself but my colleague has his business card here, dont really want to mention the name just yet though.

Side note .......... They've just finished the latest Watchdog series, so it won't be on for a few months. http://planetsmilies.net/xmas-smiley-4596.gif

Well, it wouldn't be the first time a mobile disco has appeared on Watchdog! :zip:

However, I would have thought it would need to be a much bigger problem than this for them to be interested  (ie a company doing loads of discos, and Watchdog having loads of complaints)

:agree:

They will need a good amount of complaints to even consider looking into it.

My thoughts exactly Angela, if was a bigger establishment then maybe it would get a mention but not too sure this will.

My colleague did ask if there was some kind of DJ complaints area where he could report this company which there isn't as far as im aware hence the reason he went to Watchdog.

There is a complaints body where people can go to report dodgy businesses - it's called Consumer Direct. Consumer Direct will help anyone with a complaint against a business they used or a service they've received and will work with Trading Standards should the complaint be severe enough.
