Uplighting for NYE

Hi guys,

I've been asked to provide uplighting for my event at the cafe rouge restaurant in Windsor.

So what colours would you use for uplighting?

I think people use led cans and use various colours.

The pink/burgandy colour always comes out well.
especially if the walls are white.

setting them static is an idea and have them all seperate if you do not have long to set up too.

Look at the model of light and dipswitch setting.

I favour a pinkish red and light blue combination although it does depend on the colour scheme of the venue and what the customer wants Tom.

My idea would be to have them static red for the meal and when the guests start dancing switch them to sound to light on dmx. If you have them on dmx control of course.

I don't wish to sound rude, but surely if your providing a service like this, you would have a good idea about visualising and creating a good effect.

I would use two different colours so for example pink white pink white on each side (even) but the colours depend on the venue. If you need to set them up before hand go to the venue and have a look at the venue.
