Can anyone confirm the state of play as regards the general road conditions around the town this evening please?
ie. slow, dangerous, driveable, recommendation from local Authority/|Police etc.
Internet says snow and 40mph on the M6.
We are very unhappy someone has cancelled one of our gigs because another Contractor on the gig ( Caterer) allegedly didnt fancy driving because of the snow.
Any help would be useful as we have to write to the client to try and reschedule but wish to make the point as far as we are concerned we were perfectly capable of fulfilling the Contract.
Expect more of this to follow with the snow, we will be changing our cancellation Conditions to cover all aspects of these problems now it seems we are in for some cold, icy winters.:eek:
