I've got hold of an old pair of speakers, however the tweeters have gone. I've no idea where to start getting this fixed?

They're Class D's CD128s I think.

Well ringing Class D is usually the first option, but whether any are in stock, I don't know. They're not the most expensive, and this guy might be a good try. He retails Class D kit, and spares for it, and just about everything else PA related.

Edit: the 128-1's have a single horn flare, with a screw on driver, not multiple piezos.

I reckon they simply unscrew from the front, and swap for new. I've not had experience of this model personally.

For anyone with the horn flare models, the easiest way is to remove a handle from the side, and rummage about carefully inside. Remove the wires to the driver, unscrew driver, and refitting is reversal of this.

They are very easy to fit ;) . Undo the screws that hold the horn in place and pull the horn out from the cab. Unscrew the defunct driver (look out as some have a self-tapping screw to prevent loosening in use, which will have to be removed). Screw on the replacement, reattach cables and push horn back into cab. Retighten screws. :)

The piezo drivers are 100mm diameter (4 inches in proper money ;) ) , the flare horns are typically 5 or 6 inches wide so shouldn't be a problem.
If there is a discrepancy, it will only be several millimetres, and the horn flare design is more than sufficient to enable the necessary tilt.

Easy replacement, tried the removal of handle first, cannot see or touch a thing in there! whipped off the horn, screw off the driver and yes you will need to wiggle it around a little but will definitely come out at an angle, replace with the driver which Peter (Excalibur) has posted a link to a guy in Selby and your back in business! we have not got the Class D version but the AC Euro version which are identical in every way...

As an update, I had to perform the keyhole/handlehole surgery to get the original driver off, there was no wiggling it through. Hopefully the replacement will arrive shortly and I can reproduce the procedure in reverse. Must remember which wire was which....
