Hi there.

Firstly, may I point you in he direction of this thread: http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/showthread.php?t=11711

I look forward to reading your intro thread :approve:

Secondly, may I ask why you have taken on a gig if you don't know the styles of music that the customer wants? Are those the only genres required during the whole evening? What about the other guests at the gig?

Lastly, I would strongly suggest that it is a very bad idea to prepare a play list prior to the night. By all means, research the specialist genres required, but you will need to read the crowd and alter as required at the time.

nope not me :) id just coem out n ask :)

but what gets me is what is the point of these threads - as any answer given will probally not be 1000 right !

example - done 2 18ths last week - one was all chart stuff with some stuff going back to 2006 - teh 2nd one was loads of cheese, 80,s 90, ska rock n roll light rock n general pop.

as i never have a clue what im gonna play, till i start to play it - i can respond without a preset mind seamlessy.

funnily enough the one that was all chart stuff i would normally have refused but due to lack or work for Dec took it on and actually enjoyed it

Not you. Corabar Steve has been using the faulty keyboard as an excuse for every typo and spelling mistake lately, even to posting previous threads bemoaning its failings.
