There is a nice hall I've had my eye on for some time in Nottingham.

It's perfect and only a 5 minute drive from Dads house. I did a Wedding there last year and it went really well.

What do I need?

I have my flyers and new cards from Toby.

I was thinking...

- DSPB?

Ideally, I would like a plasma with pictures scrolling. I might be able to borrow Dad's.

Any other things?

Am I rushing into it?

An invite to their Wedding Fayre usually works well :p

Ok, what's the venue and I might be able to give you some inside info ;)

Cheers Paul. :beer1:

You've given me help in the past with the venue in question. I didn't have the balls to pursue it though. I think I'm ready now.

http://www.holmepierreponthall.com/ - It's literally next door to me so travelling expenses are minimal and it keeps me out of Derby. :p

Firstly, when's their Wedding fayre & who's running it? So at least you've got something to aim at date wise. I've looked at their website and can't find a Wedding Fayre mentioned.

Standard Wedding fayre procedures apply. You are selling YOU & the service you provide, not how much or how "funky" your lights are.

So under a month! On the 21st...

Wouldn't you take your booth then?

Now is the Fayre actually being run by the Wedding guide? I know the person that runs that publication and know that they don't do their own fayres but just have a stand at it.

So realistically you need to speak to HPP to see if they have other Dj's going etc. before you know this you can't really do alot else.

As for set up, you know what I take...a couple of roller banners, slide show & Me ;)

They used to once upon a time. We used to have a nice little 'arrangement' with them for all the fayres in our area. Sadly, no longer :(

I can't seem to apply anywhere. :(

The guy who runs the hall is very old and doesn't know the ladies details who manages the fayre.
