Hi there,
It's possible it could be blocked, but if it's a new pump I fear the new pump may be faulty.
You could always try cleaning it. Take it outside, remove the fluid and replace the fluid with distilled water. Leave it running/pumping the distilled water for an hour. I've also heard of people using vinegar to clean out the pump. I tried that once, whilst it worked, the smell lingered for some time.

Hi Shaun, try using 80% distilled water 20% vinegar. That's what I always use to clean with.

distilled water never fails my Acme hp, Can you here the pump working you should be able to here it. Also have you got a volts meter so see if there is any power going to the pump.

Are you operating by remote ?
If so are the lights on the remote functioning properly i.e flashing, until on permanent for "ready" ?
