Well...it looks like a Martin Wizard Extreme, but obviously isnt. Internal workings, it seems (on paper) to be a bit like the original Wizard...but what is it like in real life? Has anyone came across them?

Why...im wanting opinions from people who have seen/used them in the flesh...not someone who can compare a spec sheet...but here you go ;)

I've never seen the Warlock in action but they do have a reputation as a poor man's Wizard. Dave's post above seems to sum up what I've heard about them. I know a DJ that uses them and he seems happy enough.

Doing a bit of digging though...the Wizard extreme is selling for less on ebay (granted second hand, but in excellent condition). The prices are averaging about £350 which is about £100 less than these new....

Yep because i missed out on one just before christmas because my girlfriend was wanting to go for a meal :(
A search of completed listings doesnt fetch much. But mid december there was a company with 2 that were less than 12 months old. One was immaculate and went for £360ish, the other had a scratch on the casing and went for £320ish.
Quick search shows one ive missed that went with a cracked mirror on the barrel on the 2nd jan for £295 + £20- postage http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Martin-Wizard-Extreme-/270686984735?pt=UK_ConElec_LightingLEDsStrobes_RL&hash=item3f06339a1f
