I have been looking at these speakers and wondered what were your thoughts.
I know the sub is heavy.

For the money £760.00 a pair they look a good buy but I think you would need to see & hear them and know more about them, IE what drivers do they use before spending that much , also if you have a good look you might be able to get something far superior for a few hundred more, those subs are quite heavy.

Interesting as they are 650w continuous 1300w peak
12" is 250w contiuous which to me relates to about 125w rms and the 15" 400w continuous which to me will be 200w rms
I have alweays understood that rms x 2 + continuous/music power which x 2 again + peak. So I would suddest these are not all that powerful and not cheap for what they are. Only my opinion as I use Tannoy V15 15" 400w rms800w continuous and 1600w peak for my mid-tops.

It would really depend on what the overall sound quality is like but I would say that they would appear to be a good buy and a 4 box configuration should do an average crowd of about 120 people with no problem.

the only experience i have had with gear4music is a keyboard i bought for the misses to learn on. it felt really cheaply made and that plastic feeling you get with something thats of poor quality. also i have noticed a lot of gears4music instruments selling for really cheap in cash generator. but saying that the speakers might be ok to use. would be nice if you could try a pair out first

Why not go down to the showroom and have a listen, as it's about 2 hrs away from where you are.
Personally, I would not touch gear 4 music as I've had a bad experience with them in the past.
