im from the neath port talbot area in south wales
done nightclubs and town pubs for a few years but didnt enjoy it as it werent my scene and was rubbish money but i enjoy the mobile side of it especially if you can get a regular spot somewhere. havent really made any cards or flyers over the years but always get work through random people ringing me who have got my number off other people etc.
never been the biggest talker on the mic but i do whats needed, i have always concentrated on good varied music and songs people aint heard for years. always get good comments from people saying its nice to hear the music rather than the dj talking all the time.
i have tried to give it up a few times but then out of nowhere people ring me for parties etc. so i have decided to get my ass in gear and get out there and do more. im still using dual cd players i have had for a good few years but have a nice new american audio mixer, 2 x active yamaha msr400 speakers, 1 x powered 15'' wharfdale sub, antari smoke machine, equinox quadzilla, acme falcon, littLED, acme firebird, wildtech fascination, small cheap prosound laser. looking at getting somekind of starcloth for the front of equipment but been eyeing up these laser cosmos star cluster mood lights which i think would look awesome behind a sheet on the dj box.
i have just purchased the cortex hdc 3000, the dds hard drive and dvd player and a backlite usb keyboard this week and waiting for them to turn up.
