i bought myself a cheap laser the other week and a moodlight turned up which also has laser effects in it. im thinking of using this in a disco now. either to light up behind me or to use as some mood lighting for early on when guests arrive. i have tested this in a big room in my house which is 25 ft long. and it looked awesome. the video doesnt do it justice. i have also tried it through this room into the next room which is also 20 ft long and it had a wide clear spread.
your opinions would be great for this as i might try it in my next disco

it does look good on the ceiling. just something different i thought. seeing as its not even a disco light i think it looks good. better effect than some of the expensive lights i have here. its a shame it wasnt a little bit more powerful
also check out the laserpod supernova and galaxy, and also the laser cosmos but they are around £100

You can't really tell much from the videos to be honest.

It would be perfect for a Star Wars, Star Trek, Space type theme party.
I've got an Optikinetics effects wheel with rocket ships, planets, asteroids etc on it - would love to see it superimposed on this laser.

It does, was that one the QTX LS Plasma? Or have some cheaper copies started coming out?

A few of those would look great dotted around a chill-out room.

Just looked at the product on play.com.
Is it powered up by a transformer or is it battery?
