What a racing game this is! Has anyone got it? A lad 3 doors away from me has got it and i usually give him a race but its boring racing the same oponent all the time.

Has anyone on here got it and fancies an online race.

Playstation 3 Dan. Its exclusive to just the Playstation Gran Turismo 5.
On the XBOX 360 its Forza Motorsport.

I've got it, just working my way through the licenses just now before going online with it. Not even signed up to PSN yet but when I do I'll post here.

I'm online on Mario Kart Wii if anyone plays that and wants an ass whooping :)

I haven't got a games console, but I stayed at a friend's last Friday and we were racing VW Camper vans and go-karts on GT5...Lots of fun lol :D

im doing my licenses on it as well at the moment. Im doing IC10 at the moment which is the International C License.

My aim is to get gold on all the licenses. Im not off to a bad start really. Ive completed the A & B Licenses with all golds and ive got 9 golds on the international C. Just trying to do the final test on the rome circuit with the 1979 ferarri the one where you have to overtake 12 cars over the course of 2laps. in total 29 golds and 1 bronze.

the hardest ones up to now.

B10 - The one where you have to overtake 16 cars on the indianapolis Speedway

A3 - The Cone Slalom on the top gear test track

forgot which license this one is but its the one on the indianapolis speedway road course where you have to take on the double hairpin bend its on the international C license (i think its IC7)

tip: If you want to win a Bugatti Veyron if you havent already got it. if you do the championship race on the professional A Spec you win one.

at the moment im level 23.

I'm just a few licenses behind you, Twinspin. I'm doing the same - only progressing to the next when I get gold. Now and again pop out to the special challenges for a break from testing!

I liked the Top Gear test track in Lotus Elises, took me a while but finally managed to get into first on the very last corner of the race!

Its the best way to get all golds because of the cars you win. The latest one im doing on the A Spec is the American GT championship on the extreme level
on the Laguna Seca raceway.

I'm now on IC-10, to be honest I found it fairly easy. After a few tries I finished second, first is going to be a little tricky but not too much. I think the trick is to be in 4th (or better) by the time you first hit the long straight (after the sharp right bend), catching the leaders is tricky otherwise as by that time they're starting to pull away. No doubt there's a video on Youtube of how to do it :)

Just about to have a bash at the GT Championship to get my Veron, using my Ferrari 458 Italia (with all the trimmings!) :)

Ive got the Ferrari 458 italia in my garage in yellow Also the Ferrari California as well.

Ive also got the Lamborghini Gallardo. I dont like the lambo though it seems to slide a lot.

One good car i did get was the 1970's Ford Mustang Trans Commer. Its in the grand touring garage the 750k one Its a good car

Nobody to contend with when i bought mine nearly a couple of years ago. I was in toys r us saw gt5 prologue on the screen and couldnt resist some out come the plastic.

I got Killzone 2 with mine bundled with it and bought GT5 Prologue at the time. Should have got that free instead of Killzone 2 but you couldnt.

Update from me.

I havent been on it for a few days until yesterday ive been suffering from headache most of the week so ive been in bed.

Licenses: Still on IC10 because i havent attempted to do it again since i last posted.

Races.... Nearly got a An Spec of 24 and just done the American GT Championship.

I give Steve a race yesterday and had a bit of a cruise around as well. Anyone on GT5 tonight?

if so let us know what time your on and ill setup a race or a cruise around and give everyone the room number so they can join.

With the exception of a 10 minute race round the track on boxing day I haven't played GT5 since. I suppose I better get some practice in, not that it'll do me much good against you. I just don't want to be humilated like you've done during gaming sessions on years gone by. :d

Caverns on standard multiplayer, Stack with Rocket Launchers only, or Complex with the Golden Gun :D

I'm pretty sure I'd still know my way around those maps...and that was 13 years ago!

another update. Now on level 25 on my A Spec. When you get to level 25 another set of races comes up after the Extreme series of races.

which is Endurance which is like 60 laps of the course. One thing ive finally figured out is how to adjust the gears on the car. So you can build up more speed.

I did the dreamcar championships also on the extreme level. If you win that you get 500k and a Ford GT Race car. (thats two i have now because i got the Ford GT LM Spec test car last week)

A bit of advice for anyone thats not tried it would be to have a go at the Seasonal events.

I bought a Dodge challenger and did 5 laps of the daytona road course and won 500,000 *if you come first* quite easy that one

another one... is an Audi Touring car race 8 laps of the nurburgring its only the short one but you can in 2,000,000 if you win it. My personal best at the moment on that is 4th but im keeping at it. I got for this the Audi TT Touring car and tuned it a bit more.
