Hi I'm a complete newbie,
I love music have been helping out a friend and now want to get my own rig together.

my main reason for joining was to get help with the legalities do i need to declare earnings to tax man do i need a prs license etc etc

will apologise in advance for any stupid questions please be kind to me.

I wish I'd have known about this forum when setting up my Mobile business as it would have saved me a lot of time, and more importantly saved me a fair bit of money when it comes to buying the right equipment for the right job! I've almost bought a completely different set up to what I started with thanks to the advice on here etc, which has improved the show no-end in my opinion.

Since joining this Forum, I've spent thousands of pounds on the rig, where previously it would have been tens of pounds. :cry: :cry: :cry: Mind you, the rig is undoubtedly now light years better than any rig I've ever had. :D :D :D This place does indeed urge you to improve.

Have found every ones advice to be very helpful and will admit at times a bit stress full, licenses etc setting up a mobile Disco seemed such a good idea at the time
