Is there such a thing as a seperate BPM counter, that can be hooked up to decks or mixer, preferably rack mountable?.

Any help gratefully received....!!

I looked into this a few years ago and there was onces that plug into the headphone socket. I had one that went from the cd deck to the bpm counter and then into the mixer.

They are rubbish though they only went 124/125/126 and while its useful as a guide if your trying to beat match but I think you better spending your time on "training your ears and brain" to do this.

Even VDJ isnt 100% with its BPM.

I did also have this mixer http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BEHRINGER-VMX300-PRO-DJ-MIXER-3-Channel-%26-BPM-Counter_W0QQitemZ150440716876QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id =198903588808&rvr_id=198903588808&cguid=cacc4e9b12a0a0aad3e49fd4feee8c08

which has an inbuilt BPM counter but again that was all over the place.
