Had a phonecall yesterday from a client wanting just uplighting in a hotel in Wolverhampton. No disco just uplighting I said it was a bit far for me to do just uplighting so I gave her Scotts number as he's a bit closer.

Well, after seeing a "Tweet" by Neil this morning saying he'd just got an uplighting job in Wolverhampton I asked if it was said hotel on the date and it was the same client.

Turns out it's for 40 uplighters :eek:

Lesson learnt: Always ask more questions before dismissing it as not profitable :mad: :daft:

Neil ended up getting the job so I don't know what happened to Scott :confused:

However Scott will still be friend for life as he's coming along to a wedding Fayre that I'm doing to see what go's on

I can only assume due to the huge cost being quoted this lady has gone for six quotes.

I suppose its understandable.

I know there are safety and quality issues but isnt an uplighter an uplighter.:confused:

I quoted this job aswell and delivered the paperwork. She lives round the corner from me.

I can confirm that her dad is making a choice on who he uses.
